I met this family almost 6 years ago when I shot their oldest son’s senior photos. This year their twins graduated from high school. The family’s Wisconsin lake house is a big part of their summers and they wanted to capture all of the boys there. One of their favorite things to do at the lake is wakeboard. Despite the fact that I get severe motion sickness (as in I can’t do anything but look out the front window in a moving vehicle) and that I’d never shot anything from the back of a speed boat, I was all in!
The parents were so thrilled that they had giant canvases made to hang up in their great room up at the lake. I LOVE printing big art for my clients and I love how these turned out. Photography is an investment in your family — it should not be hidden away on your laptop or phone but displayed someplace where it can put a smile on your face every time you walk by. It’s artwork of the thing you prize the most — your family.
